Internship at Anera!

Today, I started a much-anticipated summer internship with Anera. Although I’d planned to spend my week with Anera at their beautiful office, the Delta variant has cast my time to a virtual internship… Still, I’m super excited to better connect with those making G4G a possibility.

Some potential projects I’ve been assigned from Anera’s Senior Director for Philanthropy, Ms. Skylar Lawrence include:

• Researching a video gaming fundraiser project

• Writing a blog post on why I support Anera and why I chose the rooftop garden project

• Researching student groups who might like to support Anera

• Researching influencers who do/could support Anera

• Supporting Anera’s team and our donors during a webinar on Lebanon we plan to host that week

Most excitingly, Ms. Lawrence and I are scheduling a Zoom meeting this week with Naser Qadous, Anera’s Agricultural Programs Manager in Gaza.

I’m pumped for this week and I hope my time, although virtual, will allow me to better connect with this fantastic organization.
